The ladies got all the shine and praise earlier this week for their daring looks on for the METS annual gala. But what about the BOYS?! Of course red carpet walks seem a little drab for menswear but the punk theme allowed the the gentlemen to go all out and come with fresh new looks to translate the punk culture in a refined way.
Scroll down to see my winning looks of the night and why I picked them.

Plaid is a staple in punk and Dareen Criss of the show Glee fused high-end fashion and the rebel feel of punk perfectly with this plaid Tux number. Pairing the Richard Chai look with a black on black top and tie made for a powerful, clean balance of his boyish looks and rebel theme of the night.
Musical Star Eddie Redmayne took a low key shock approach to the Puck feel in this Dior blue tux with a hit of sheen. He elevated the look with a white pocket square with a hand sewn skull. The slim fit, bold color, and touch of skull gave a good definition of punk and class.
Pharrell Williams is a man that can do no wrong in my book and being the new aged punk, he brought a new wave look to the theme of the night. The pewter metal tux with gingham print gave great edge. His touch of eyeliner and TALLGLASSOFSTYLE girlfriend was the icing to the cake.
AND THE WINNER IS….
This is PUNK! Zachaey Quinto wearing the queen of punk Vivienne Westwood, embodied the style tribe to the fullest! With his blue hair , tailored vest, and chain he gave a great flair of F-U to the traditional bow tie and jacket.
I LOVED his look for the night!
