There was a mid to late 70’s vibe to Furstenburg’s Spring 2014 collection with her wide leg chambrey pant, and “solid gold” shift dress making it’s way down the runway. Every model had a Mona Lisa smile as they stalked the long sleek runway giving the impression that they felt amazing in their DVF creations. It was also a treat for her to stick with the classic way of closing a show and taking the runway herself instead of ducking in the back like others. With sky high wedges and flowing maxis, you were transported into the word of Hampton Spring retreats, and out door lunch dates. Her use of patterns with hints of ombre, and sleek addition to her signature wrap dress with skirted bottom and slight appearance of lace trim reminds us how fun it is to be a well dressed women of luxury.
