Bamz Does Beauty: Keep it Clean! (How to safely clean your Perm Rods)

We always think about cleaning our makeup brushes and hair brushes but what about your rollers?! You’d be surprised how much build up if left on your perm rods. Here are a few easy steps you can follow to safely cleanse your rollers.

Supplies needed:

Perm Rods

Measuring Spoons

Large bowl

Apple Cider Vinegar

Anti Bacterial dish detergent

Step 1:

Fill Bowl with warm water , adding 3 to 4 drops of antibacterial dish detergent to create small soapy bubbles. Dish Detergent is a great way to cut the oils left on your rollers with out harming them.

Step 2.

Add 2 to 3 tablespoons of Apple Cider Vinegar to soapy mixture. Apple Cider Vinegar acts as an anti fungal agent and has a strong scent so be sure to have enough water in your mixture to dilute the smell.

Step 3.

A.) Slowly dump rollers into water mixture

B.) Use hands to carefully spin and move rollers in the mixture and leave to soak for 10- 15 mins

Step 4.

After soaking particals will lift from your rollers and residue will be removed, leaving the water a grey like color

Step 5.

Rinse rollers in cool water and continue to repeat until water in bowl is clean.

Step 6.

Once rinsed lay out rollers on towel to air dry and then enjoy!!!!

You know have a fresh batch of perm rods to keep your hair ounce and ready to serve!!!!
