My mini vacation was full of love laughs and relaxing at my parents home in Atlanta GA. I got to spend time with loved ones and even was surprised by a visit from my grandfather surrounded by good vibes and family. It wouldn’t be a perfect trip without a little one on one mommy daughter time, so we decided to spend a day shopping and brunching. My mother took decided on Atlantas version The Village called “Little Five Points“, buzzing with amazing vintage shops and tasty off beat cafes.
Hand in Hand we enjoyed the street musicians, colorful shop fronts and made a visit to the vintage shop “The Clothing Warehouse“. My mother has always had an extremely stylish eye for fashion and while growing up I got to witness her creative skills take vintage clothing and turn it into masterpieces. We walked the store describing what we would do with our favorite pieces and coming up with events we would wear them to. Because of my beautiful mother I am the woman I am today. Her love, support and creativity has always encouraged me to be a better person, to see the beauty in things forgotten and having these moments motivate me to trust in my own vision and colorful goals.
It was truly a great experience seeing such a beautifully displayed vintage shop like “The Clothing Warehouse. Their massive layout and amazing clothes makes it a staple in “Little Five Points” and I can’t wait to visit again. We ended the day with Tai food, smiles and new goodies before heading home to spend the rest of the day relaxing and watching Unsung.
