Creators Harmony Pilobello and Shilpa Iyengar brought Alterre Shoes into reality as a celebration of strong ambitious women and the many roles they lead. Pulling inspiration from women throughout history and present day that have left their mark on the world. It’s clear that Harmony and Shilpa pour love and dedication into their brand.

These brilliant women are also committed supporters behind non-profit organization Restore NYC. Restore NYC is an organization providing long-term rehabilitation to victims of sex-trafficking in New York , which is one of the worlds largest hubs of human trafficking. 5% of Alterre Shoes profits are given to Restore in their effort to break the cycle of abuse women endure from the horrible impact of sex trafficking.
