I went out of town for business this past weekend, and if you watched my past IG story you know how excited I was about finally buying proper carry on luggage and a beauty bag. I have been riding round in these travel street with my boyfriends camo-duffle bag and zip lock bags to carry my products… It was a true shame to the travel society but no more childish moves for me. Since I wasn’t flying to my destination I didn’t have to worry about meeting size requirements on my products and I took the chance to bring the new Eden Body Works Coconut Shea line, my favorite mud mask from Shea Moisture, and try out my new sheet mask from Feel Beauty.
Day One with Shea Moisture
My skin gave me a little trouble before my trip so I packed my Shea Moisture mask to calm the redness and help protect my skin from any other pimples surfacing. I love their Peace Rose Oil Complex Sensitive Skin formula because it gives my skin a pleasant tingle with out being too aggressive. I left it on for about 15 minutes, laid down and caught up on some reading ( ultimately falling a sleep 3 pages in). I washed everything off with warm water, and then followed my regular wash routine using my Josie Maran cleansing products.
Day Two Using Feel Beauty Sheet Mask
By day two my skin needed a little more extra loving since spending the day before traveling and working up a sweat setting up my rep table. Feel sent me Brilliant Bamboo Charcoal facial sheet mask a few days prior to my trip and knew it would be the perfect time to give them a spin. I love the Feel message of encouraging women to embrace all levels of their beauty both emotionally and physically while providing us with safe quality products.
“To put it simply, understanding, accepting, and being supportive of our emotions is critical to fully experience every single iota of stunning beauty that life has to offer. Our emotions tell the world who we are and how to Feel. Our emotions drive us.” – Feel Beauty
I caught up on emails, enjoyed a chi tea and let it work on my skin for 30 minutes. Once done, I rubbed the remaining serum into my skin and took a much needed nap before dinner. My skin was is love with this sheet mask and I woke up feel refreshed. The box comes with a 1 month supply and I strongly suggest to fit this into your weekly routine.
Honorable Mention: Eden Bodyworks Coconut Shea Collection
Eden Bodyworks recently released their Coconut Shea Skin Collection and I was honored to receive a set from the company. I personally don’t like the soap provided by most hotels so I made sure to bring the set on the road with me. I used the body wash which foamed really easily during my shower and it smells heavenly. Once out of the shower I used the body lotion while my skin was still damp, and I stayed moisturized to perfection through out the day and didn’t bother with applying perfume. The hand lotion proved as a great addition to my tote bag never leaving my hands feeling greasy or caked up. If you’re a fan of Eden Bodyworks products you know we have been waiting for their skin product line to drop and we finally got an answer to our prayers!
